Ikram Shah

Ikramuddin Shah is an accomplished Information Technology professional with over 12 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, network administration, systems management, and information security within the higher education sector.

He is currently serving as Assistant Director IT at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage, Sukkur, where he leads the planning, implementation, and management of the university's IT infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient technology services that support academic and administrative operations.

Previously, he served as Assistant Network Administrator at Virtual University of Pakistan from 2014–2023, acquiring nine years of extensive experience in enterprise networking, server administration, and IT service management. During this period, he played a significant role in strengthening network infrastructure, improving cybersecurity, and implementing centralized IT management solutions.

His professional expertise includes enterprise networking with routers, switches, and firewalls; Windows Server administration; Microsoft Active Directory management; Group Policy implementation; Wi-Fi RADIUS authentication integrated with Active Directory; virtualization using VMware; Digital IP Telephony (PBX) systems; and CCTV surveillance system administration. He has successfully implemented centralized domain management for client systems, enforced security policies for computer-based examinations (CBT), managed user access controls, and optimized wireless network authentication and security.

Ikramuddin Shah holds a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT). He has further enhanced his technical expertise through internationally recognized professional certifications, including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA) – Cloud Computing, and Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS).
