Biography
Insaf Ali serves as Assistant Director, Research, Innovation & Commercialization at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage, Sukkur. He contributes to research coordination, faculty research support, research and grant management, project administration, intellectual property management, commercialization, and the development of institutional research initiatives. His role involves facilitating collaboration among faculty, researchers, external stakeholders, and institutional leadership to strengthen research, innovation, and knowledge transfer. Prior to joining Aror University, he served at Sukkur IBA University in various capacities, including Team Lead, Student Financials, in the Finance Department; Visiting Faculty; and Center Coordinator at SIBA Testing Services. His major role involved managing Student Financials at Oracle PeopleSoft CMS and ERP.
He holds an M.Phil. in Leadership & Management from Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur, where he received a Silver Medal and an Institutional Merit Scholarship in recognition of his academic achievement. He also holds a Master’s degree in Economics, complemented by substantial professional experience in university financial management, which has provided him with a strong foundation in economic analysis, financial decision-making, resource management, and project evaluation, competencies relevant to research funding, grant management, commercialization, and institutional planning.
His professional interests center on research and grant management, funding opportunity identification, faculty research facilitation, research capacity building, research project development, research policy and compliance, research workshops and training, innovation and commercialization, intellectual property, university–industry linkages, quality assurance, and higher education management. He brings a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by experience in research administration, academia, finance, testing, and educational administration, with a strong focus on institutional effectiveness, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement.
