Kamran Siraj

Kamran Siraj is a Lecturer in the Department of History and Pakistan Studies at Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design and Heritage, Sukkur, Pakistan. He holds an MPhil and an MSc in History from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, where his research focused on madrassa reforms and state policy in Pakistan during the Pervez Musharraf era. In addition to his academic responsibilities, Mr. Siraj serves as Assistant Director in the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at Aror University. In this role, he contributes to quality assurance initiatives, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), institutional accreditation processes, and the preparation of Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) in accordance with Higher Education Commission (HEC) standards. His teaching and research interests include Pakistan’s political and constitutional history, South Asian history, religion and politics, madrassa reforms, higher education quality assurance, and climate governance. He has published research in reputable academic journals on topics such as madrassa reforms, women in the Mughal Empire, and climate-related water governance in Pakistan. Mr. Siraj is committed to promoting academic excellence, critical thinking, and research-driven learning while contributing to the advancement of higher education in Pakistan.
