Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Khalid Shafi is a renowned scholar of Islamic Studies, with over two and a half decades of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience. He served with distinction at Sukkur IBA University for nearly 25 years, where he progressed from Lecturer to Associate Professor and played a vital role in shaping thousands of students across disciplines. He pursued his Graduation and Master’s degree in Islamic Studies from Islamia University, Bahawalpur, and further strengthened his scholarly foundation by completing an MA in Arabic from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He later earned his MPhil and PhD in Islamic Studies from the National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad, marking a significant milestone in his academic and research journey. His command over Arabic, Urdu, English, Punjabi, and Sindhi allows him to connect with diverse audiences and communicate complex religious concepts with clarity and depth. Beyond the classroom, Dr. Khalid Shafi is widely respected for his lectures on the Quran and Sunnah, delivered at national conferences, academic forums, and public platforms across Pakistan. His areas of expertise include Quranic studies (Tajweed, Translation, and Tafseer), Hadith, and Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ, where he beautifully blends classical scholarship with contemporary relevance. Currently, he serves as Director Academics at Shahryar Quran Academy, Sadiqabad, and as a Professor of Practice at Aror University, continuing his mission of nurturing intellectual and moral excellence. Dr. Khalid Shafi is also a published researcher, with numerous research articles in reputed national and international journals, addressing critical themes such as social ethics, women’s rights in Islam, parenting in the digital age, Islamic welfare concepts, interfaith dialogue, and contemporary socio-religious challenges. His work reflects a balanced, research-driven, and deeply insightful approach to Islam in the modern world.
