Academic Profile
Engr. Zafarullah, a registered Engineer with PEC, currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Sciences. He holds an M.E. in Environmental Engineering from QUEST, Nawabshah, and a B.E. in Agricultural Engineering from SAU, Tando Jam. At Aror University, Engr. Zafarullah completed NAHEE Training and the Faculty Certificate of Teaching and Learning (FACTL) from LUMS, which have strengthened his approach to university teaching and student learning. Besides this, he also serves as Academic Coordinator of the Department of Environmental Sciences and is a member of the Ethical Review Board (ERB), Board of Studies (BoS), and Board of Faculty (BoF). He also contributes to Self-Assessment Reports, course documentation, academic events, and Academia–Industry linkages. His research experience includes waste management, pollution control, environmental and health risk assessment, field surveys. His Master’s research examined medical waste management practices in healthcare facilities in Nawabshah, while his earlier work involved developing a geo-referenced tree population database using GIS. He is interested in practical, locally relevant environmental research that can support better environmental management and sustainable development in Pakistan.Education
