Welcome to the Department of Environmental Sciences at Aror University
of Art, Architecture, Design, and Heritage, Sukkur. The Environmental Sciences department
stands as a beacon of innovation and excellence, leading the charge in environmental
education and transformative research.
With a steadfast commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we
are preparing future-ready environmental scientists who can tackle the pressing challenges
of our time — from climate change and biodiversity loss to water scarcity and environmental
pollution.
Our interdisciplinary curriculum blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on field experience,
laboratory training, GIS mapping, and environmental law — equipping our graduates to serve
in government agencies, environmental consulting firms, international organizations, and
research institutions.
We are particularly proud of our work in addressing Pakistan’s — and Sindh’s — unique
environmental challenges. Situated along the Indus River, we have a unique responsibility
and opportunity to lead environmental stewardship in one of the world’s most ecologically
significant regions.
