2nd Board of Studies (BoS) for the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) was held on 30 May 2024 at Senate Hall, Aror University, Sukkur. The meeting was chaired by Ar. Prof. Dr. Waqas Ahmed Mahar, Chairman, Department of Architecture, Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning.

The main agendas presented in the meeting were to discuss the Vision, Mission, PEOs and PLOs of the program, followed by presenting the proposed scheme of study for the B.Arch. as per rules and regulations defined in the Undergraduate Education Policy (UGEP) 2023, which will be implemented for the upcoming batches from the Fall semester of 2024. The third agenda was to amend the revised scheme proposal for the batches of the Spring 23 and Fall 23 scheme, which was continued by the discussion to amend the prerequisite courses.
The experts suggested focusing on courses related to the environment and climate and making them compulsory. They appreciated the university’s practical/professional working opportunities, support, and progressive plans to encourage students to participate in internship programs. The experts also provided some enlightening suggestions related to the alignment of prerequisites. Each expert’s advice and recommendations offered various solutions and room for improvement in the schemes. The overall course scheme was found to be satisfactory and well-designed.
