Aror University of Art, Architecture, Design & Heritage, Sukkur participated in the 2nd Sindh Research & Technology Showcase 2023 on 18th & 19th May at Expo Center Karachi.
In charge of the Faculty of Architecture Town Planning, Dr. Javeria Shaikh and respectable faculty members presented the research project on “Lightweight Concrete and heritage day Sindh” and also showcased the sample of lightweight concrete from pumice and conservation preservation domain adaptive reusable architecture for Sadhu Bella Sukkur region.
The project involves collaboration between the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning (FATP) and the Faculty of Heritage at Aror University. It focuses on lightweight flood relief structures and energy-efficient building systems, with a specialist in semi-amphibian structure engineering involved. The research will be showcased at Expo Center Karachi
The Minister of the UNIVERSITIES & BOARDS DEPARTMENT, Muhammad Ismail Rahoo, and Mr. Muhammad Mureed Rahimoon, along with his Personal Staff Officer, Mr. Muhammad Saleem, visited the facility at Aror University of Architecture, Design, and Heritage in Karachi’s Expo Center.
