An impactful awareness seminar titled “The Women United for Change Movement” was held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Sukkur IBA University, coinciding with the global observance of ‘16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV)’ from November 25 to December 10, was arranged by DIGP Sukkur Range. The event brought together a wide array of participants, including dedicated police personnel, representatives from the FIA, various NGOs, and engaged students and faculty from multiple universities. As a collaborating partner, two representatives from Aror University actively participated.
The seminar featured a thought-provoking panel discussion on the pressing theme, expertly moderated by Ms. Uzma, Student Counselor at Aror University. Among the distinguished speakers was Dr. Qasim Sodhar, Head of the Faculty of Heritage, who contributed valuable insights. The event concluded with a resounding commitment to action, motivating every department and individual to embrace their role in the fight against Gender-Based Violence, underlining that together, we can create profound change in our communities.
